Hello loves! I should start off by saying Happy New Year! This is my first blog post of 2013!
Since I've been MIA from here for a while, I decided to update you all on what I've been up to.
First off, I want to thank all of you who wished me a happy birthday! My birthday was on the 23rd of January and I had a fabulous day.

I've also been trying out some new beauty products and here are the items that I'm absolutely loving at the moment.
Due to the dry and cold weather, my hands have been suffering so much. I've been trying out several different hand creams and here are my absolute favorites at the moment.
The Face Shop Green Tea Hand Gel Cream - this smells absolutely divine!
When I look for hand creams, I look for ones that aren't sticky or greasy but hydrating. These are my favorite ones!
Lately, I've also been loving Bioderma Crealine H2O for removing my makeup. My skin always feels so soft after using it.
I've been incorporating mineral foundation into my daily makeup routine and definitely have fallen in love with the results. My skin has been severely acting up and my favorite mineral foundation lately has been the bareMinerals Matte Foundation.
My shade is "fair"
I prefer the Matte version of this foundation since I feel it is longer lasting and really controls the oil on my face. I love this!
As much as I love my Nars Sheer Glow Foundation, I never gravitated towards their other face products. After giving them a shot, I finally understand why people rave about Nars blushes and the infamous Nars Laguna Bronzer.
Finally, I must mention this concealer compact that I received from my sister as a Christmas gift. Words can't describe how much I love this concealer duo from Laura Mercier.
It's creamy yet it has very long lasting power. It also conceals the biggest worst blemishes and doesn't look cakey. I'm in the shade SC-3 and it comes with a lighter and slightly darker shade. Often times I find that I like to mix these colors together to cover blemishes.

Hello lovelies!!
It's been a while since I updated on my life here.
Amidst my life being pretty busy and feeling like I'm running all over the place, lately I've been feeling very happy and productive.
I've been trying to sport more natural looks these days. Very little eye makeup and base makeup. My skin has definitely felt much happier and feels like it can breathe.
It's hard to believe that it's already November! Pretty crazy how time flies. I am excited to pull out my coats and jumpers/sweaters for this month. Unfortunately, the weather here in Los Angeles has decided to pull a curve and we've been in the 90s these past days. Not too excited about that.
I filmed this quick outfit of the day a couple days ago when it was literally scorching with heat. Luckily, I had lots of wind so it was somewhat bearable, but I have to admit that I took off the cardigan right away after I filmed. This bag features my newest bag from Baginc, which I am giving away here.
Also, I was so thrilled to see that Starbucks brought out their holiday cups!
Although it's so hot out and I could be indoors playing Cheekybingo online and staying cool, nothing gets in the way from making my trip to Starbucks and trying out their holiday drinks. It's such a lovely treat!

Candles are probably my newest obsessions. I can't get enough of this "Autumn" candle from Bath and Body Works. Definitely regretting not having any backups since this candle is discontinued now. I love that my clothes smell like this candle too since I'm always burning it.
I love my bangs for this season. I'm always trying to decide how I want to style my bangs, but at this point now, I feel like I'll be keeping these bangs for a little longer. It goes so well when I put my hair in updos.
Oh and now that the holidays are approaching, I feel like I'm being bombarded with tons and tons of emails regarding holiday sales, events, etc.
Some of the sales that have caught my attention are from Nordstrom and Bloomingdales. Nordstrom is having its Half-Yearly Sale with some crazy deals! Bloomingdales is also having its 20% Friends and Family deal right now with the coupon code: HOLIDAYFF
Somebody may or may not have already taken advantage of these deals.. We'll see. Maybe a haul video is in the coming. ^o^
